Boiling Point

A series of interconnected vignettes document struggles to adapt to life during the pandemic. A failing relationship, a crazed man, and a lobster’s life all collide as they reach their Boiling Point. Created by James Boots-Ebenfield, Claire Fraise, Tyler Markovich, Conor Moriarty, William Porter, and JJ Stewart. This film was created in the new Fall 2020 class, From Script to Screen (FMS-94) taught by Professor of the Practice Don Schechter. This class was created to offer FMS students a new filmmaking opportunity. The course was designed to serve two, interlocking purposes. It’s a chance for students who’ve written scripts in Screenwriting 1 to produce them. At the same time, it provides a workshop environment and a pool of like-minded filmmakers who can collaborate on each other’s projects.
